About us
We plan, design and build systems for your production, from the first idea to the running machine. Our focus is on custom machines and system concepts for the automotive, building materials, process and consumer goods industries. Individual components such as roller or chain conveyors are also available from us as standard products. And as a contract manufacturer we build machines and assemblies to your specification, so that you can concentrate on developing your own products. Take the whole package, or exactly the part you are missing.

Our claim “So machen wir das”, that is how we do it, is meant to show you plainly and precisely how we picture a good relationship between customer and supplier, and how we want to live it with you. It stands for the reliability and the commitment with which we work for you. It also stands for an understanding of values that shows itself in a mutual obligation between client and contractor: we do not let each other down when difficulties come up, we keep to what we agree and we keep communication open and honest, because that is how we do it at SME.
The claim is in no way the culture of a long-established crew with no appetite for change. Quite the opposite. The sentence describes what we expect of ourselves: a way of thinking and working that gets things done, and that puts our flexibility and our readiness to change into words. Customer needs change quickly, and that asks us for continuous adjustment, inventiveness and a willingness to take risks. That is SME. So machen wir das.
