Transfer unit
The transfer unit combines a roller conveyor with a belt or chain conveyor and so changes the direction of travel of light to heavy unit loads through 90°, from lengthwise to crosswise or the other way round. A pneumatically or hydraulically driven lifting device raises whichever conveyor unit is active.
It suits situations where two or more conveyor lines have to be coupled and the roller and the chain or belt component are to be combined to fit the weight, the goods and the surface they rest on.
